Our Programs and Services
Grocery Shopping
The Food Bank offers weekly in-person shopping times on-site at 17928 Vashon Hwy SW (behind the Methodist Church). Customers choose from an array of items including fresh fruits and vegetables; protein sources such as chicken, fish, tofu and dairy; cereals/grains, canned goods, coffee/tea, fresh bread and pastries. We also offer personal hygiene supplies, diapers and more. This service is offered on Wednesdays, 10am - 7pm.
Grocery Pick-Up
We have a weekly shopping list request model for customers to pick-up groceries or they can shop in-person. Fresh groceries for pick-up are packed by a team of trained and efficient volunteers and then placed in the Food Bank Warehouse waiting room for pick-up. Pick-up service is available on Thursdays and Fridays between 10 am - 2 pm. Orders must be placed before 5 pm on Wednesdays through the Home Delivery menu.
Home Delivery
For some, getting to the Food Bank is a challenge, so each Thursday and Friday are our Home Delivery Days. Teams of volunteers - packers and drivers - pack nutritious groceries and deliver to all parts of Vashon Island. More Info
Emergency Food
