The Vashon Maury Community Food Bank is hiring a temporary Picnics in the Park Program Manager for summer 2026 to oversee its free youth meals program, which serves thousands of lunches to island youth. The role involves managing food purchasing, meal preparation and distribution, supervising volunteers, coordinating with staff and community partners, and collecting program data. The organization focuses on food security as a basic human right and emphasizes values like equity, anti-racism, and community support. This public-facing position runs mid-June through early September, offers $22–$23/hour, and requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.
