Ready to make a difference? Come join the nearly one hundred volunteers who are the heart of the food bank. We need volunteers in a variety of positions. From delivering meals to clients, helping in the office or warehouse, gleaning in the fall, or lending a hand during food drives, we have a spot that will fit your interests. We know it can be hard to find the time to give something to your community, so we have flexible schedules, and welcome everyone. Come and join us every week, or even just a few times a year. We have on call and regular positions available. Be a part of a great volunteer team, make a contribution to your community, and help us to feed the island. Questions? V o l u n t e e r s   i n  t h e   S p o t l i g h t

Pat and Nana have been volunteering at the food bank  for a combined total of over twenty years. Together they work at our protein table, helping clients make healthy choices, and spreading their warm cheer. Self described "foodies", they enjoy suggesting recipes and creative ways to use simple foods. As Pat says, "We have both been given so much, this is our way  to give something back to our community. It's also a lot of fun!"
