Distribution
The Vashon Maury Community Food Bank is
open every Wednesday from 11am until 1 pm, and again in the evening
from
5 until 7 pm.
All islanders, and those who work on the island, are welcome.
We serve approximately 200 households per week, serving nearly 10% of the Island's population. Whether you are in need of a occasional visit to see you through, or rely on the food bank to help make ends meet, we are here for you. We have a good selection of canned goods, high protein foods, and staples for the whole family. You might even find a few treats to take home too! Thanks to the generosity of our island gardeners, we have a bountiful selection of produce as well.
We do not ask for identification, proof of address or income, or any other explanations of need for our services, and you will always be welcomed and treated with dignity and respect.
