 Serving
up to 200 Island families each week, through our Wednesday distribution
day and our home delivery program, we are community based and
supported, a vital resource for those who work or live on Vashon Island
Distribution
- Wednesday from 11am to 1pm and in
the evening from 5pm to
7pm.
Senior and Disabled Distribution - Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm to 5pm. Home Delivery - Call us to enroll, 206-463-6332 Food Stamps - Sign up every Wednesday during distribution (11am-1pm and 5-7pm) Did you know? Two-thirds of Vashon foodbank clients are either seniors or children.  ¡Los corazones grandes quisieron! The food bank is looking for Spanish speakers. Come to the food bank and use your language skills to assist our Spanish speaking clients during distribution on Wednesday evenings, and for on-call fill in positions during our Wednesday daytime distribution. Helping your neighbors out at the food bank is fun, rewarding, and a great way to contribute to your community. Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Marian at 463-6332. Even if you don't speak Spanish, we are always looking for volunteers of all ages and physical abilities. So, give Marian a call, and make a difference in your island community. |

donation shed, located in front of the food bank, is open 24 hours a day. It's just one of the many ways you can help the food
bank. We are in need of tuna, peanut butter, soy and rice
