Community based and supported, we are a vital resource for those who work or live on Vashon Island

Distribution - Tuesdays from 1-3pm, and Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm & 5pm to 7pm.

Senior and Disabled Distribution - Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm to 5pm.

Food Stamps - DSHS Mobile Van is here every other month. The 3rd Wed of the month from 10:30am-2pm (then in town from 3-5pm).

(Next visit - March 21st)

In 2011 we provided over $475,000 worth of groceries to Islanders in need.

Between 14-15% of our Vashon community came through our doors for assistance in 2011, whether.once, twice or multiple times through the year.

We offer an average minimum of 60 pounds worth of assorted groceries each week (works out to 3-4 packed bags of food), including a wide variety of cereals, proteins, fruits and vegetables and dairy. This includes fresh and frozen protein and dairy items as well as fresh produce.

Vashon Kiwanis brought in 575 pounds of food and $353. this weekend to help replenish our shelves!

Thank you to the Blue Heron's Youth Theatre Production of Fiddler on the Roof crowd for donating a "BOAT LOAD!" of food to help nourish our community at dress rehearsal night Thursday May 3rd!
