Community based and supported, we are a vital resource for those who work or live on Vashon Island
Distribution -
Tuesdays from 1-3pm, Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm & 5pm to 7pm. Senior and Disabled Distribution - Wednesday evenings from 4:30pm to 5pm. Home Delivery - Call us to enroll, 206-463-6332 Food Stamps - DSHS Mobile Van is here every other month from 10:30am-2pm (then in town from 3-5pm). - NEXT VISIT - Wednesday May 15th
IT IS GARDENING SEASON! And, We would LOVE your help! To come help, just give a call or email and we can put you on our Farm and Garden Email list for weekly emails about what is happening at the Farm and Garden and how you can help. Currently, work parties are happening at the Garden (at the food bank) every Monday 4-6pm and Wednesday morning from 9-11am. How Many are we serving?
We served 15% of Vashon Island's population in 2012 (668 Families with 1463 family members) We served an average of 200 families each week. Families came to the food bank on average 15 times in the year.

THANK YOUS AND SHOUT OUTS STAMP OUT HUNGER 2013 was a roaring SUCCESS! Thank you to all who put out there bags of food on May 11th! Thank you to all who took out part of the day to volunteer and support our fabulous mail carriers to make this happen! And Thank you Vashon Mail Carriers!THANK YOU TO ALL WHO GaveBIG on May 15th! $6581 were raised that will be stretched into even MORE to help feed and nourish our community!Thank you Kiwanis! Great Food Drive despite the rain on Saturday April 6th at Vashon Market Fresh IGA! Over 500 pounds collected!
Vashon Island Rotary Club does it again! Huge Thanks for making our distribution space so much more organized and great looking with these fabulous cabinets!
Thank you Vashon Theatre! Oscar Night 2013 was a fabulous success for all! Besides the great gift of scholarships that this raises money to support, all wine sales benefited the Food Bank this year! $560 was raised to help keep our shelves and the bellies of our community filled.
